We perform energy efficient Inspections/consulting and certification for the NC HealthyBuilt Home program. We can provide home Energy Star/Tax Credit ratings, Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM) inspections, and renewable energy equipment installations.
Our staff has been trained with the most recent information in building science, energy efficiency, and renewable energy technology. We have several years of experience with building technology and renewable energy systems with the latest technology tools to analyze home efficiency and provide data to support upgrade suggestions.
This has been proven to be the quickest solar investment payback. The sun's energy will allow you to enjoy your pool for an additional 3 or 4 months each year using your existing pool system circulation pump to introduce the heated water. Just the fuel cost savings compared to a standard electric pool heating system would pay for the cost of the solar thermal installation in about 2 years.

On site 6500 Watt grid-tied solar electric system. This system is well on its way to paying for itself within 10 years. We are quickly moving toward energy independence. We are using a very practical approach. We began with efficiency improvements- air sealing, sealed crawlspace, increased attic insulation, geothermal heat pump, CFL lighting, all new appliances are energy star, power strips for phantom loads, passive solar applications, water conservation improvements, wood stove heated hot water and desuperheater (hot water from heat pump), composting.
