AUDIT SPECIFIC SERVICES OFFERED:
General Inspection: a check for common leakage problems, insulation improvement recommendations, water conservation ideas, indoor air quality and comfort issues, renewable energy ideas and general upgrade advice.
Time: up to 2 hours
Blower Door/Infrared Testing: tests and identifies air leaks in your home. Space conditioning normally accounts for over half of a home’s power consumption. Air leakage can cause up to 40% of the space-conditioning costs! Improvements in this area are some of the most cost effective.
Time: up to 2 hours
Central Duct System Testing: tests and identifies air leaks in your duct system which can increase your space conditioning costs by 30%.
Time: up to 2 hours
Deluxe Computer Modeling Test: a series of inspections to obtain information of your home’s energy loads. The information is entered into a software program that models the cost effectiveness of recommended improvements. This requires blower door and central duct testing. The DCMT is required if you intend to apply for an Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM).
