BUILDING SCIENCE AND ENERGY STAR
 
This is a 1 day class designed to teach the science and requirements of building to Energy Star and Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credit Standards. By building to these higher standards your homes will be more comfortable and utility cost efficient. This course is highly recommended for builders, remodelors, trades subcontractors, realtors, or anyone interested in building their own home, remodeling, or building to these higher standards.  Get registered as an Energy Star partner!

GREEN BUILDING
 
This is a 1 day class designed to teach and compare requirements for LEED for Homes, HealthyBuilt Homes, and NAHB green build certification. The cost to achieve basic certification can be minimal. A green home is a home built to healthier, more comfortable, and greater energy efficient standards. This course covers principals of green remodeling and certification.  
 
Prerequisite: Building Science and Energy Star
 
 
SUSTAINABLE HOME
 
This is a class designed to teach the
building of a home that provides net
zero power and water needs. It is the
natural progression in standards.
Homes meeting these goals will usually
qualify for the highest levels in the green
build programs if other considerations
are also made.
